Born from a humble village background in South Africa, lived and loved across the country changing cities every two years till university: Chemical Engineering, Corporate Consulting, Business School, Innovation consulting and Entrepreneurship. Through all of those above I have been failing at entrepreneurship since I entered university, and guess what’s the best part I still am. Maybe it is a good thing I … STILL… am. Well this is my life seven days at a time.

That is me or at-least resembles me very well. Not a bad pose, looking confident but not at all, infact he does not have a clue what he is doing except “doing what I want to do” — Chasing and living the dream at the same time.

The objective of entrepreneurship is over come failures. However I am at the point between massive success (at least according to my ambition — speaking it into the universe is important) and underground hustle. The “come up”. A story that is not often shared. From a youth, South African, male, in 2018.
So this is my attempt at achieving mainly three things.
Becoming a better communicator by carving myself into a wordsmith and written word artist. That’s a fancy way of saying “I want to be an author one day”
(only as a measure of communicating value)
. So these are my baby steps.
Sharing a story that is not often taken and hoping that it will be relevant to at least one person. Yes, maybe it might be you.
Self-reflect, reflect the self, reflect, selfie, flex, reflection on the self… in other words. Its a therapeutic (as you can see I need it) process of thinking about what I think about. Except not just in my head, on this very, very, public platform. Thank you for your reflections as well.
Next week I want to ask myself more about who I am and how that connects to what I am doing right now. If you have any questions, please…
